Halewood International South Africa (Pty) Ltd was established in 1999 when Halewood International Holdings PLC (UK) purchased a small drinks company. Since its humble beginnings it has become one of the fastest growing alcohol beverage manufacturers in South Africa, with a national distribution network, and state of the art production facility.
Halewood South Africa has set out to build its brands to be internationally recognised, and Red Square has thus far won The Star Sunday Times Top Brands award for the Top Spirit Cooler for 2009 and 2010.
Our brand portfolio includes Red Square, Caribbean Twist and Crabbie’s. We also do contract packing for international brands such as Bad Girl & Bad Boy, and warehousing/distribution for Original Iced Cocktails, Christies, and Whyte & Mackay whiskies.
